About Tom

I’ve spent nearly two decades in financial services, working at the intersection of business and data. I started on the client side as a financial advisor and moved into various product management and business strategy roles. No matter the title, there was always a heavy analytics component—exploring product trends and customer behaviors, and translating insights into decisions that moved the business.

To lean into that strength, I recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics from Harvard Extension School. I’m sharpening my toolkit in Python, R, SQL, statistics, and visualization, and I’m building a portfolio of projects and case studies that show how I turn messy data into clear stories, measurable outcomes, and better product and strategy decisions.

I’m also deeply interested in practical AI—how large language models and automation can reduce cycle time, improve efficiency, and unlock new ways of working. I experiment with real use cases (from summarizing unstructured data and workflow automation, to fantasy football and website design), document what works, and focus on solutions that are reliable, compliant, and cost-effective.

I’m now pivoting into data analytics and consulting roles, bringing a mix of business acumen and hands-on analytical skills. If you’re looking for someone who speaks both “business” and “data,” that’s my lane. I’d love to connect about opportunities where I can help clarify the problem, build the right analysis, and drive decisions that stick.
